Description

Biokomposter is a complex of micro-organisms that can degrade lignocellulose. It breaks down garden waste, wood shavings, small branches, tree leaves, uncooked organic waste, manure, straw, significantly reduces the germination of weed seeds, improves compost quality and microbiological activity. Organic nitrogen and carbon are converted into a usable form for plants. The compost heats up to 60°C when the biological decomposition process starts. When the compost mass has reduced by 50%, is loose and has a fresh earth smell, it can be used to enrich the soil. The use of finished compost restores soil fertility, improves soil structure and physical properties, and increases the organic matter content of the soil. The soil absorbs and retains water better, providing plants with easily available nutrients for a long time.
Biokomposter Successfully inhibits the formation of unpleasant odours, even in dry toilets. However, it must be remembered that when using live micro-organisms, household waste water containing chemical detergents must not be used in the heart house tank.

IMPORTANT

  • The fertiliser is authorised for use in organic farming in accordance with European Commission Regulation 2021/1165.

  • Do not use the Bio Composter with chemicals.
  • Sufficient humidity, heat (+15° to +25° C) and air increase efficiency.
  • Use above the specified dose does not cause harm to plants, humans, animals or the environment.
  • Do not use water containing fungicides, detergents and other household chemicals.

STORAGE
The preparation should be stored at +3° to +27°C. Shelf life for unopened packaging – 2 years from the date of manufacture, see label.

Dosage:

500g/0.5m³ compostable material
2kg/2m³ compostable material

Use above the specified dose does not cause harm to plants, humans, animals or the environment and does not result in resistance.

Shelf life: unopened - 2 years

Use

Making compost
1. The compost heap or bin should be in a partially shaded area out of direct sunlight all day.
2. Prepare the site or buy a bin with ventilation.
3. Make the correct layering.
For fast and good quality compost, observe the ratio of the 2 main material groups:

  • Green materials (nitrogen-rich): uncooked kitchen waste (vegetable and fruit peelings, coffee grounds, tea bags), fresh grass, green garden residues, manure.
  • Brown materials (carbon-rich): leaves, twigs, straw, dried garden residues, hay.
  • Don’t compost: meat, fish, dairy and fat waste, processed wood.
  • The correct ratio is 2-3 parts brown material to 1 part green material.

4. Sprinkle each layer with the Biocomposting Composter, then add the next layer.
5. Ensure humidity and air access throughout the process. The compost should be as moist as a squeezed sponge – not too dry and not too wet. Water or stir the pile as necessary – this will speed up the composting process.
6. The composting process will take 2-12 months, depending on the type of material, its coarseness, mixing frequency, moisture content, temperature and weather conditions.
The finished compost will be dark, fine and smell like damp earth.
It is used as a soil improver, fertiliser or mulch.
